Detailed Itinerary:
Days 1 & 2 Moremi Crossing, Okavango Delta
Enjoy a light aircraft transfer over the Delta, taking in the magnificence of the winding, papyrus fringed channels that make up one of the world’s greatest wetland wonders. You will be able to see some of Africa’s most celebrated animals from a bird’s eyes view 500 FT above the ground; the Okavango is an immense river that never meets the sea. Instead, its crystal–clear waters spread across the Kalahari Desert, forming Africa’s largest wetland phenomenon. The Delta is an abundant oasis amid the vast plains and pans of the desert that covers most of Southern Africa. Your first two nights are spent overlooking the legendary Chiefs Island and bordering Moremi Game Reserve enjoying boat cruises and mokoro excursions gliding silently through channels and watching game at eye level.
Days 3 & 4 Rra/Mma Dinare, Okavango Delta
A further scenic flight to Rra or Mma Dinare, gives you the chance to explore a different region of the Delta and witness tall palm islands, dry open plains, meandering channels and lush floodplains of the Okavango on memorable game drives, mokoros and nature walks with the chance to see nature close–up in this unique environment by the Gometi River. These new camps set on 272 sq km concession are 100% eco–friendly and feature the latest in water and solar technology – the way forward for all serious travellers.
Day 5 Onward connection
After breakfast a return flight will take you back to Maun to continue with your onward travel arrangements
