Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1&2 Masai Mara Camp, Masai Mara
We leave the capital of Nairobi behind us and travel to the Masai Mara, world–renowned for its endless plains of wild animals and spectacular beauty and where we take part in exciting game drives in safari vehicles. Look out for the huge numbers of wildebeest, zebra, various gazelles, followed in hot pursuit by predators such as lions and cheetahs. Hippo and crocs abound in the muddy–brown waters of the flowing rivers that traverse this reserve.
Day 3 Hotel Waterbuck, Lake Nakuru
Onward to Lake Nakuru and this afternoon take part in a game drive heading to see the large flocks of bright–pink flamingos and pelicans found here. Whilst the lake is famous for these flocks, there is plenty of other game to spot from rhino, leopard, lion and numerous antelopes.
Day 4 Nairobi – end
We return to our starting point in Nairobi, en–route visiting the Giraffe Centre and a chance to see these huge animals at eye level as we stand on a platform. From here we take part in a game drive through the Nairobi National Park for a final chance to see wildlife. The tour finishes later in the afternoon and we recommend a night in the city.
