Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1-3 Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
Depart from Nairobi Airport and fly to Lewa Conservancy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to spend your first 3nights on safari – here, you join game drives to experience some of the diverse landscapes from open plains to hills and escarpments, and watch out for Big Cats, roaming elephants and plenty of plains game such as eland, zebra and giraffe. Relax and enjoy the romance of a stunning Kenyan sunset with the backdrop of Mount Kenya. Enjoy spending the next days exploring the conservancy and taking part in game drives. Lewa reinvests tourism profits generated to core programmes – essentially this means as a visitor you contribute to helping thousands of people from different cultures and backgrounds to give their children a future and improve people’s live, as well as protecting Kenya’s wildlife
Day 4-9 Diani Beach
Today’s flight takes you back to Nairobi and onward to Diani Beach where you can spend days relaxing by the pool, wandering along the beach or taking time to indulge in water sports (optional) based around the shimmering blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Perhaps scuba or snorkel to see some of the colourful fish and marine life such as turtles and dolphins, head out on a sailing trip, or perhaps even horse ride. There is plenty to entertain the more active visitor. It is also renowned for a trip to Mombasa Island to find out some of its history, or even visit Mwaluganje – a wonderful ecosystem characterized by forest, cliffs, rolling hills and the ocean where you can perhaps spot elephants or monkeys. Essentially, it is up to you to choose how active you wish to be as you celebrate the start of your new life ahead.
Day 10 Nairobi
Fly back to Nairobi where your trip ends.
