Day 1–3 Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe
Your first three nights on this wonderful safari is at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, overlooking one of the largest man–made lakes in the world and where activities are geared to game drives, bush walks, cultural tours, fishing and birding. The lake’s waters form a natural boundary between the countries of Zimbabwe & Zambia and there is abundant wildlife with crocodiles, hippos, fish and aquatic brids, while the islands are rich in game such as buffalo and elephant. Take in some of the natural beauty of the area from the infinity pool or the privacy of your room and balcony. Day 4–6 Somalisa Camp, for Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
A flight today takes you to Somalisa Camp in Hwange National Park, found nestled under a grove of acacia trees and on the edge of a seasonal flood plain. Join exciting game drives in the private concession and national park as well as adventurous walking safaris. Somalisa has an elephant pool on the edge of camp is a terrific place to spend some time watching these antics of these gentle giants, while evenings can be spent listening to the sounds of the bush under starry African skies. Game drives in Hwange result in rewarding sightings from plains game, predators including lion, leopard and hyena. On the outskirts of Hwange National Park, you’ll experience the 3 pillars which the foundation stands for; Community Empowerment, Conservation and Education. Under the Education pillar, you’ll be visiting Umtshibi Camp’s school, Main Camp Primary School and Mambanje Primary school as well as a cattle boma project and womens projects
Day 7–9 Thorntree River Lodge, Livingstone (Victoria Falls), Zambia
There final 3nights are spent at Thorntree located upstream from Victoria Falls on a quiet stretch of the Zambezi River yet close enough to the mighty falls themselves. Enjoy a wonderful guided tour to the falls and revel in the thunderous noise of the water as it plunges over the edge into the ravine below. You can also join a sunset cruise or track protected rhino on foot,or visit the spa at camp. Working wtih the local Maunga Village, experience at first–hand the needs of the local community from education and health issues, as well as visiting projects such as meeting with a blacksmith

A flight will take you to Victoria Falls Airport where you are dropped for your onward connection
